Simply exceptional. Service is welcoming, ambiance is amusing and the steak is world class. If I have to go further, it feels like the cow wasn’t butchered but more of sacrificed for the enjoyment.

Bravo! My Boyfriend and I planned a small date night that exceeded by far our expectations. The Atmosphere was perfect, the service top notch, special thanks goes to Niels and his colleagues were just Amazing. The food outstanding. Will be definitely back!

Our 2nd time, since out 1st soon after they opened. Service and staff was very good and attentive . Food was good to exceptional. Started with a crab both amuse bouche - délicieux. We shared the artichoke - delicious, then mains we choose a special - Vol au vent with cèpes, then the pork sausage with Sides of Fries and Leeks with Cheddar. The Vol au vent was good , but missing a bit of taste from the cèpes, and the pastry too dry. The sausage was outstanding , a taste bomb. For dessert the Sticky toffee was delicious, and poached pear was ok but missing the wow. We mentioned about the plain vol au vent and they offered us a dessert. This was not asked for but welcome, Our comment was more to help them improve not that it was bad. Nice atmosphere, service and overall high quality

Had a small birthday dinner here. You do have to pay a €20/person fee for reservation, which will go towards the final bill. I requested a quiet corner, and they arranged just that. They were also attentive to allergy (more informing than substituting). The food was great: steak was cooked to a perfect medium; the sea bass was smokey and not fishy; the grilled chicken sauce was so good. The service was also nice, friendly and polite!

A hidden gem at the back of the Albert Cuypmarkt, this former bar is now a spacious restaurant with a large terrace. The cool, "freshly painted" interior feels modern and made with taste. The restaurant fills up quickly, so booking in advance is a must. The skate wing, bell pepper, and wood-fired vegetables are being definite highlights. The homemade whipped butter with sourdough is a simple but perfect starter. They also have an impressive selection of wines. Note that most people were dressed up, so consider this when planning your visit.

Great atmosphere and lovely interior in this restaurant. The staff and service were very attentive and took care of our party throughout the evening. Overall a 5/5 experience. We tried a variety of dishes with the steak & skate fish being the highlights. Beef tartare was good, house made Dutch crab broth was incredible, and the oysters were fresh and delightful. Only item we would not order again is the salmon crudo. Overall a fantastic experience with great cocktails, excellent atmosphere, attentive staff, and a lovely evening overall!

Cozy, good wine selection, absolutely amazing food. The portions are slightly on the smaller side, though. Sourdough ice cream is heavenly!

The menu is good and recently changed to a more wintery menu. We had a snack during the first drinks and got an “amouche bouche” on the house, which was a bisque, tasted delicious. The starter was very good, had the paprika. For main we had the sausage which had also loads of flavor and matching wines The atmosphere was cozy and very busy, we were a bit disappointed though to be seated on what felt like a board game table without a table cloth or anything and next to service. Felt sort of being dumped in the corner, in addition we were reminded about 6 times that we only have the table until 8pm, and cannot feel a bit rushed and that the staff was only waiting for us to leave.
